Experience the magic of Colonial Holidays at Morven Museum & Garden’s annual Festival of Trees. This popular family event takes a historic turn in 2008 with more than a dozen trees exquisitely decorated in themes relating to the year “1783” and installed in the main exhibition galleries of “Picturing Princeton 1783: The Nation’s Capital.” The Morven Museum Shop is stocked with a full array of unusual and affordable gifts for the holidays. Open Wednesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Admission: $5 adults; $4 seniors/students. Free parking. Patriots’ Week

Patriots’ Week celebrates Trenton’s unique and pivotal role in the American Revolution.
